HANSON EME escalator continues to set new records for pedestrian distance traveled

From April 20th to 27th, 2023, HANSON EME (EmbeddedModernization Escalator) conducted rapid remodeling of two escalators onChangsha Pedestrian Street.

The street is a famous and crowded area, and with theexpected influx of people during the May 1st holiday, the management wanted toeliminate the many risks posed by the old escalators before the holiday. Theon-site workers worked diligently and completed the remodeling of the twoescalators at an average speed of one every three days, showcasing HANSON EME'scompetitive advantage in fast remodeling.

The two escalators were located in narrow spaces,connected to adjacent building walls in a complex manner, and filled with manydecorations, advertisements, and handrails on both sides. However, with EME'sunique competitive advantage of preserving the existing truss, they were ableto "install an escalator inside an escalator" without affecting thesurrounding buildings. The speed at which they completed the remodeling of twoescalators within seven days surprised the business owners, who said it wasfaster than replacing the entire equipment.

This is the 11th completed EME escalator since HANSONlaunched EME. With continuous improvement in EME technology, the on-siteprocess is becoming more mature, the process is more rational, and labor costsare continuously decreasing. This has helped to gain the trust of more usersand lay the foundation for entering a larger remodeling market.
